Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian recently reminisced about his sporting days from childhood, sharing fond memories of playing soccer, basketball, and American football. The 41-year-old also joked that he could have won two Super Bowls had he pursued a football career.

Ohanian has often expressed his love for American football on social media, frequently showing support for the NFL's Washington Commanders. In the 19th installment of his "Ask Alexis" series on X, the tech entrepreneur shared that he primarily played soccer starting in kindergarten and only got to play American football in high school, as his parents did not permit him to play.

"Why, Yes I did play sports growing up. A lot of soccer basically since kindergarten. My parents wouldn't let me play football until high school, which is really what I wanted to play. So I, played American football when I finally got to high school. I'm sure we can cut to a really amusing photo of me. I played basketball. I was not very good. Six foot five, wasted height," he said.

The Reddit co-founder mentioned that he never played stick sports or tennis but is currently learning golf. He often shares glimpses of his golf swing with his daughter Olympia.

"I think that's it, I did not play any stick sports. I never played tennis. I am learning golf now and I'm really loving it. But not for me it was soccer, a little bit of basketball, and then finally what I really wanted, American football. But I peaked senior year of high school with a sack. It was in garbage time, but it doesn't matter, It was a great sack. Glad both my parents were there in the crowd to see it," he added.

In another post, Serena Williams' husband shared that he was once compared to NFL legend and two-time Super Bowl champion Justin Tuck.

"I was told my game was a lot like @JustinTuck and if things had gone a different way maybe I’d have won a couple Super Bowls," he said.

Ohanian frequently shares interesting insights into his life with fans online. An avid sports enthusiast, the Reddit co-founder is also dedicated to promoting women's sports, exemplified by his investment in NWSL's Angel City FC. Additionally, he is a co-owner of the Los Angeles Golf Club.

On January 14, Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, shared a photo of a putting green under construction on his farm. He revealed it would help him and Olympia improve their short game in golf.

"Farm getting a putting green because the girls and I need to work on our short game, too," Ohanian wrote.

While enjoying the Sony Open golf tournament in Hawaii, the user expressed a wish to see Olympia compete in the same tournament in the future.

"I was just at the Sony Open here in Hawaii and I know we’ll be seeing Olympia in competitions like that in the future!" They wrote.

Ohanian replied by writing:

"If she wants it she can be it."

Ohanian married 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams in 2017, shortly after the birth of their eldest daughter, Olympia, who is now seven. They welcomed their younger daughter, Adira, in 2023.
