Stefanos Tsitsipas was hilariously roasted by ChatGPT after the Greek himself asked for it. The 26-year-old bore the brunt of AI which made fun of his love for philosophy and social media, stating how he would've won more titles had he focused more on improving his game.
Tsitsipas has had a tumultuous 2024 season. The Greek won the Monte-Carlo Master for the third time in his career but is struggling at the North American hardcourt swing, having faced early eliminations at the Canadian Open and the Cincinnati Open.
The former World No. 3 recently asked ChatGPT to roast him to which the AI came up with scathing remarks on his love for philosophy and joked about how he could turn a simple changeover into a TED Talk on Greek Mythology.
"Stefanos Tsitsipas: the guy who spends more time philosophizing on Twitter than actually serving up a solid second serve. He’s the only player who can turn a simple changeover into a TED Talk on Greek mythology and still come back to the court with his shoelaces untied," ChatGPT prompted.
ChatGPT further stated how Stefanos Tsitsipas would have won more titles had he focused more on improving his backhand slice rather than upping his Instagram captions. It then joked about how at least the Greek's hair game was winning even though his forehand forgot its direction.
"Maybe if he spent less time perfecting his Instagram captions and more time working on his backhand slice, he’d have a few more trophies by now. But hey, at least his hair game is winning, even if his forehand occasionally forgets what direction it’s supposed to go."
He posted the roast on X.
Stefanos Tsitsipas will be next seen in action at the 2024 US Open
After an underwhelming start to the North American hardcourt swing, Stefanos Tsitsipas will look to turn things around at the final Grand Slam of the year - the 2024 US Open.
The Greek kicked off the swing at the Canadian Open as the eighth seed receiving a bye in the opening round. He was stunned by Kei Nishikori in straight sets in the second round following which he relieved his father Apostolos from his coaching duties.
However, things didn't turn around for the Greek at the Cincinnati Open as he was eliminated by Jack Draper in the second round from a setup.
Tsitsipas had a disappointing run at Flushing Meadows as he was eliminated in the second round by Dominic Stricker in a five-set thriller.
