Nick Kyrgios hilariously declared that he would be better at coaching Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, than Roger Federer. In 2023, the Swiss and Middleton engaged in training exercises with ball kids and played an amazing rally, with the Princess of Wales taking the point with a winner.
Kyrgios, who could not take part in Wimbledon 2024 due to an injury, picked up a mic and joined as a commentator for BBC during the Grasscourt Major. While commentating for BBC during the Wimbledon final, he offered to coach the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, who is also a royal patron of (AELTC) All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
"Maybe I’m a little bit too volatile… But look, I’ve got a lot of time on my hands at the moment so I’m happy to coach [Kate Middleton]," Nick Kyrgios said.
The 2022 Wimbledon finalist hilariously added that it would be more fun to be coached by him than by Roger Federer.
"It’ll be more fun being coached by me than it would by [Roger] Federer!" he said.
This comes a year after the Swiss Maestro teamed up with Middleton to train Ball Kids.
"I think it was on the line. Amazing!" Federer said while playing with Middleton.
He also offered her his verdict on Middleton's serve.
"The serve looks good," the former World No. 1 replied.

First real test today and it almost brought me to tears the fact that I’ve been able to get back to this level - There were periods that maybe it wasn’t meant to be - Novak told me today that he couldn’t tell that I’d had the surgery ... My team and I had to reflect on all the moments when s**t got hard ... We keep going," Kyrgios wrote on his Instagram story."
