Wozniacki is not participating in the ongoing French Open as she was denied a main draw wildcard. The Dane's father, Piotr, expressed his displeasure over the snub, expressing she deserved more respect as a tennis legend. Wozniacki also missed the deadline for the women's singles qualifying competition entry.

Piotr, in comments to Polish magazine Gazeta, indicated that the tournament officials did not take them seriously and confirmed that Wozniacki won't play in next year's French Open.

"Of course we could, because we have a ranking that allows it... But Caroline said that she had not worked hard all her life and had not achieved so much to now start as a junior. At some point in life, however, there should be respect in a sport where a person meant something," Piotr Wozniacki told Gazeta.
"And I will tell you that Caroline will definitely not play next year. We have already decided this. Because there's no point in going through something like that. They don't take us seriously, so it's a waste of our efforts," he added.

The 61-year-old mentioned that his daughter had no issue playing qualifiers and was testing the organizers' treatment.

"Caroline is not the type of person who considers eliminations a dishonor. She can play in the qualifiers. But in Roland Garros' case, she just wanted to see if she was respected," Caroline Wozniacki's father told Gazeta.
"That's why she didn't enter the qualifying rounds, risking losing the tournament at best. She told me this: 'Dad, I won't report because I'm curious how they will treat me.' And when she got the answer, it was too late to register for the eliminations," he added.

Earlier this year, Caroline Wozniacki said that she loved going on trips with her children, whom she described as an "extension" of herself.

"I travel with my kids everywhere. They kind of are an extension of me and always around. I really enjoy that," Caroline Wozniacki said during the pre-tournament press conference at the 2024 Australian Open.
"They're very adaptable. They're at an age where you can move them around, and especially the older one, Olivia, she loves to travel and explore. She asks me when we're going on the plane next, where we're going next."

The Dane said that she was grateful for the chance to create unforgettable moments with her family, even though it sometimes meant having a busy schedule.

"It's a lot of fun to be able to share these memories with them, even though they're still pretty small," Wozniacki said. "But, yeah, they're here. I like to train early, so when I have a practice day, I practice early, then I have the afternoon with them, which is great."

Caroline Wozniacki will now team up with compatriot Holger Rune against Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils for an exhibition mixed-doubles match called 'The Champions Battle' in Denmark on June 11, 2024.
