Naomi Osaka has made a devastating announcement that has left her fans shocked. She revealed that she has broken up with her long-time boyfriend, Cordae.

The couple had been romantically linked since 2019 and welcomed a baby girl named Shai in July 2023. They seemed to be going strong, recently attending Jamie Foxx's birthday party together and appearing to have a great time.

Things took a surprising turn when Osaka shared on Instagram Stories on Monday, January 6, that she and Cordae had ended their relationship. Despite the breakup, she made it clear that there was no animosity between them.

"Hi everyone, just wanted to say that Cordae and I are no longer in a relationship. No bad blood at all, he's a great person and an awesome dad," she wrote.

The four-time Grand Slam champion also expressed that she was "glad" their paths had crossed, as it led to the birth of their daughter, Shai, whom she called her "biggest blessing."

"Honestly really glad our paths crossed because my daughter is my biggest blessing and I was able to grow a lot from our experiences together," Osaka wrote.
