Snoop Dogg recently opened up on having Naomi Osaka's partner Cordae ghostwrite for him on the song 'We Don't Gotta Worry No More'.

Osaka and Codae have been dating since 2019. The couple went to watch a game of the LA Clippers on their first date and have been going strong since. The two also welcomed a daughter named Shai in 2023.

Recently, during an interview with Hiphop-N-More, rap icon Snoop Dogg was seen talking about the Grammy-nominated artist writing a song for him. Considered a taboo topic, the rapper said that he started off writing for Dr Dre and explained the importance of letting other people paint a picture for you.

"Yeah," Snoop Dogg said.
"Nah but I started off writing. I started off writing for Dr Dre. So what would I be if I didn't allow somebody to write for me? You know, sometimes you gotta put yourself in the frame of letting somebody else depict a better picture for you because you can't see everything," he added.

He said how Whitney Houston's best record was given to her by other people who let her sing a depiction of Houston from their point of view.

"I use this as an example all the time. I feel like Whitney Houston's best record was the bodyguard. When other people came in and gave her records that weren't hers, where she could just sit back and just sing, and they embodied what they thought she should be."

Snoop Dogg said he is at a point in his career where he has written so many hits and wants others to depict the things he can't see.

"And that's to the point of my career where I'm at now where I've written so many hit records to where it's not about what I can write sometimes. It's about what I can't see that somebody else can write for me."
