Naomi Osaka's outfit for the 2024 US Open has been revealed. It is based on the Japanese fashion style called Lolita. The former World No. 1 will be back at the New York Major this year after missing the 2023 edition as she took a hiatus from tennis due to her pregnancy.
Osaka's outfit is called the 'Goth Lolita' and consists of several bows, frills, ribbons and a tulle. As per the New York Times, it also has a bomber jacket, the back of which has a large bow pinned. More bows are attached at the back of her outfit while two tiny ones have also been placed at the back of her shoes.

Yoon Ahn designed Osaka's US Open outfit and told the New York Times:
“She sent me a few looks of this ‘Lolita’ goth thing she was really vibing at that moment. They go out and wear pink, frills, bows, lace. It’s about really owning the cutesy-ness and the girly-hood."
Naomi Osaka will enter the US Open after failing to qualify for the main draw of the Cincinnati Open. She will face Jelena Ostapenko in the first round.
Naomi Osaka on her US Open 1R clash against Jelena Ostapenko: "I think it's going to be really fun"
Naomi Osaka was asked to give her thoughts on her US Open opener against tenth seed Jelena Ostapenko during her pre-tournament press conference. The Japanese responded by saying that it would be "really fun" and that the Latvian was one of her favorite players to watch.
"My first-round match... I think it's going to be really fun. She's honestly one of my favorite players to watch. I think we are polar opposites in a way. Yeah, I respect her a lot. She was the first player in our generation to win a Grand Slam. She's a champion. I'm really looking forward to it," Osaka said.
Osaka and Ostapenko will lock horns for the second time when they meet in Flushing Meadows. Their previous encounter came in the first round of the 2016 French Open when they were both teenagers. Osaka won the match 6-4, 7-5 and went on to reach the third round of the tournament, where she lost 6-4, 2-6, 3-6 to Simona Halep.
Whoever out of the Japanese or Ostapenko wins, will take on either Karolina Muchova or Katie Volynets in the second round of the US Open.
