Naomi Osaka could not contain her laughter after she watched one of her team members being unable to endure the weather in Auckland. Osaka is currently in New Zealand to compete at the 2025 ASB Classic.

After her 2024 season was cut short due to a lower back injury she sustained at the China Open, Osaka has been enjoying her time off the court. She had traveled to Japan, played pickleball, and engaged in various other activities

Since then, the former World No.1 has returned to training, hitting the practice courts and working out at the gym. She also traveled to New Zealand ahead of the 2025 ASB Classic.

On Thursday, December 26, Naomi Osaka took to social media to share videos of herself, her coach Patrick Mouratoglou, hitting partner Matias Zukas, and other team members enjoying a yacht ride in Auckland.

In one video, Osaka can be seen unable to control her laughter after her team member, Alexandria Boston, a talent manager at EVOLVE, a talent agency co-founded by the Japanese and her longtime agent Stuart Duguid, struggles with the cold Auckland weather and the chilly waters surrounding their yacht hitting her in the face.

“@alexboston_ is just getting beat up today 😭 first it was the cold now it's the water 😂 😂 ," Osaka captioned her Instagram story.

The former World No.1 participated in all four Grand Slam tournaments this year but did not have good showings in any one of them. She reached the second round at the French Open, Wimbledon Championships, and the US Open, and was eliminated in the first round at the Australian Open

Osaka's best result this year was reaching the quarterfinals at the Qatar Open, where she lost to Pliskova.
