Amid the ongoing feud between Nick Kyrgios and Jannik Sinner, the Aussie recently shared a Christmas meme featuring both their faces, referring to Sinner as The Grinch. This act prompted tennis insider Jose Morgado to react with a three-word response.

On Christmas Day, film director Mikael Maria D'Alessandro shared a meme on Instagram featuring Kyrgios and Sinner and he captioned it "A Natale siamo tutti più buoni," which translates to "At Christmas, we are all kinder." A few hours later, Kyrgios reposted the meme on his Instagram story, referring to Jannik Sinner as "The Grinch" in the caption.
On Thursday, tennis journalist Jose Morgado shared the post on X (formerly Twitter) and voiced his displeasure with Kyrgios's continued taunting of Sinner.
"Out of control," Morgado wrote.

Jannik Sinner on comments made by Nick Kyrgios following his doping controversy: “Everyone is free to say everything”
At the 2024 US Open, Nick Kyrgios took on commentary duties for ESPN, raising the possibility of him interviewing Jannik Sinner. When reporters asked Sinner how he would feel about being interviewed by Kyrgios, he responded that he wouldn’t address Kyrgios' remarks, adding that everyone is free to share their opinions.
“I don’t want to respond to what he said, everyone is free to say everything. It’s ok. If that is the case, let’s see. It’s gonna be different for sure (smiling). I don’t know what to say. Maybe I say something now and then the reaction will be something else. I’m always quite relaxed. I’m someone who forgets things quite fast. Everyone is free to say everything. It is what it is,” he said. [via Tennis365]
Sinner will aim to defend his Australian Open title in Melbourne in a few weeks, while Kyrgios will look to surpass his best finish of reaching the quarterfinals in 2015. However, Kyrgios has a strong record at the tournament, having won the doubles title in 2022 with Thanasi Kokkinakis.
