Nick Kyrgios has recently sent a five-word warning message to the rest of the tour ahead of his comeback following a lengthy time on the sideline. The Aussie has only played one match since the Japan Open in 2022 due to knee and wrist injuries that required surgery.
In recent months, Nick Kyrgios has regularly shared videos and pictures of his gym workouts, hinting at his progress. While he hasn't announced an exact date for his ATP tour return, signs suggest it's approaching soon. He recently participated in a mixed doubles exhibition match in New York, teaming up with four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka to face Taylor Fritz and Amanda Anisimova, just days before the US Open.
On Wednesday, the 2022 Wimbledon finalist posted a video of himself working out in the gym on his Instagram story. He was doing sit-ups, using a stability ball, and performing a few other exercises. He then humorously commented that he is "a nuke getting prepared."
