Several fans were left in stitches after seeing Novak Djokovic in a new haircut, which according to them, resembled Carlos Alcaraz's. Djokovic sported the haircut during his practice session ahead of team Serbia's forthcoming Davis Cup match against Greece.

The Serb performed well at the Paris Olympics, clinching his maiden Gold medal. Furthermore, he opted to skip the lead-up tournaments to the 2024 US Open. Djokovic's Flushing Meadows campaign ended disappointingly with a third-round loss to Australia's Alexei Popyrin.

The World No. 4 is now competing in the David Cup World Group 1, where Serbia will take on Greece. Ahead of the encounter at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall in Belgrade, the 24-time Major champion was spotted donning a new hairstyle, practicing a series of backhands and forehands.

Several fans were left amused after seeing Djokovic's haircut, with many finding it similar to that of Carlos Alcaraz.

"Novak called Carlos's barber," a fan said.
"Same haircut as Alcaraz, what's up with these two," another wrote.
"Seasons over, he can stop milking that knee brace 🤭," a fan said.

A fan suggested that Djokovic's new hairstyle was better than his usual.

"Better than that buckethead haircut he usually sports," they wrote.

Here are a few more reactions from the fans on Novak Djokovic's haircut:

"What the f*ck with that haircut xd. He never change his haircut in 18 years xd," a fan commented.
"Novak moved to the younger category, up to 25 years old!" Another chimed in.

Recent social media posts shared other highlights from Djokovic's practice session ahead of the Davis Cup. Since making his maiden Davis Cup appearance in 2004, the Serb has amassed a 40-8 record in singles and a 4-8 record in doubles.

The Serbian team faced a 0-4 defeat to Slovakia who advanced to the World Group. Thus, Novak Djokovic's team came down to the World Group 1, a lower division of the Davis Cup where they will next face Greece. Teams that win their World Group I matches in September will earn spots in the 2025 Davis Cup Qualifiers, with an opportunity to advance to that year's Davis Cup Finals.

The Viktor Troicki-captained team is the top seed in the World Group having players such as Hamad Medjedovic, Miomir Kecmanovic, and Dusan Lajovic, including the World No. 2 Novak Djokovic. Meanwhile, Greece will miss the services of their top player, Stefanos Tsitsipas.
