Novak Djokovic has opened up about the significance of a treasured family photo with his wife Jelena and their children, Stefan and Tara. The Serb also emphasized his joy at his children having the opportunity to witness his unmatched success on the court.
Djokovic has been joined by his family in Melbourne as he gears up to clinch his 25th Grand Slam title at the 2025 Australian Open. Ahead of his highly anticipated campaign, the Serb took part in a popular GQ series, where he shared a peek into the '10 Things Novak Djokovic Can't Live Without.' The 37-year-old showed off several meaningful items, including his prized Olympic gold medal, his trusted Head racket, and his sentimental necklaces.
One of his treasured possessions was an adorable family photo capturing a warm embrace with his wife Jelena, son Stefan, and daughter Tara, with the 24-time Grand Slam champion emphasizing their importance in his life.
"So we have one of our family photos. I think last year, a group hug and a group kiss. Can't express the love that I feel towards my wife and my children and they're the most important people in my life," he said (1:30).
The World No. 7 also opened up about setting new goals after accomplishing his childhood dream of winning a Wimbledon title. Djokovic acknowledged his good fortune that he and his wife Jelena got the chance to experience the happiness of having their kids Stefan and Tara present for his major victories, especially the singles gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
"Winning Wimbledon when I was seven, I had that goal and then obviously when I achieved that and I start to set new goals, dream new dreams, so I've been so blessed, along with my wife, to experience both of them seeing me live, winning pretty much any big trophy in the sport but particularly the Olympics gold medal, which was something extremely special and unique," he added.

Novak Djokovic is set to commence his 2025 Australian Open campaign against 19-year-old Nishesh Basavareddy. Ahead of his opening match, the Serb took part in a special exhibition event called 'A Night with Novak' at the Rod Laver Arena, with his family in attendance.
During his on-court interview, the 24-time Grand Slam champion extended his heartfelt gratitude to his wife Jelena for "making his heart full" by traveling to Melbourne with their children, Stefan and Tara.
"It means the world to me. It's their first time in Australia, so it's great to have them there. My heart is full, you know, when I have my family with me. It's a long way to get to Australia from where we live. I appreciate my wife [who was] willing to make the trip with my kids and giving me support that is always necessary," he said.
Djokovic also made plans to extend their stay in Australia, allowing Stefan and Tara the chance to make the most of their first visit to the country by enjoying some sightseeing as a family.
