Novak Djokovic made a stunning appearance on the cover of the February 2025 issue of GQ in an off-white oversized outfit ahead of the 2025 Australian Open. Djokovic will be aiming to secure his 11th Melbourne Major and a record-extending 25th Grand Slam title this year.
Djokovic kicked off his 2025 season at the Brisbane International, a tournament he returned to after a 16-year hiatus, with his last appearance dating back to 2009. He participated in both the singles and doubles events at the ATP 250 hard court tournament in Queensland.
Prior to the start of his season, the 24-time Grand Slam champion sat down with GQ for an interview. He also took part in a fashion photoshoot, which was for the cover of the February 2025 issue as well as for the spread inside the magazine.
The photo for the cover featured him dressed in an all-white ensemble from Lacoste, a luxury sports fashion brand he has been representing as an ambassador since 2017. He completed his look with a watch from Hublot.
In addition to the cover, GQ released more images and videos of the 24-time Grand Slam champion posing in various Lacoste outfits on a yacht.

On the tennis side of things, Novak Djokovic entered the 2025 Brisbane International as the top seed. He began his campaign by defeating Australian wild card Rinky Hijikata in the opening round and then went on to secure a victory against Gael Monfils in the second round. However, he was eliminated by eventual runner-up Reilly Opelka in the quarterfinals.
For the doubles event, the former World No. 1 teamed up with Nick Kyrgios. The pair received a wild card entry into the main draw and won their first-round match against Alexander Erler and Andreas Mies. However, they were defeated by the top-seeded pair of Nikola Mektic and Michael Venus in the second round.

Novak Djokovic is seeded seventh at the 2025 Australian Open and will take on wild card Nishesh Basavareddy in the first round. This match will mark the first time that both the players meet on the ATP Tour. The winner of this first-round clash will move on to face either qualifier Jaime Faria or Pavel Kotov in the second round.
The Serb will enter the Melbourne Major on the back of a quarterfinal run at the Brisbane International. ln 2024, he was the defending champion and reached the semifinals before being defeated by Jannik Sinner, who went on to win his first Grand Slam title by defeating Daniil Medvedev in the final.
On the other hand, Nishesh Basavareddy will kick off his Australian Open campaign after finishing his run at the 2025 ASB Classic. At the ATP 250 hardcourt tournament in Auckland, Basavareddy navigated through the qualifying rounds by defeating players like Botic van de Zandschulp and Daniel Altmaier to secure a spot in the main draw.
The 19-year-old then went on to defeat lucky loser Francisco Comesana, second seed Alejandro Tabilo and eighth seed Alex Michelsen in the quarterfinals to advance to the semifinals where he will face Gael Monfils.
