Taylor Fritz's girlfriend, Morgan Riddle recently expressed her admiration for Naomi Osaka's custom neon green outfit with ruffles and bows, which she wore at the 2024 US Open. Osaka, who is a two-time New York Slam champion, was granted a wildcard entry to the main draw at this year's tournament.

Osaka arrived at Flushing Meadows after failing to make it to the main draw of the Cincinnati Open. She had previously competed in the Canadian Open, beating Ons Jabeur in the first round before falling to Elise Mertens.

At the 2024 US Open, Naomi Osaka began her campaign by beating tenth seed Jelena Ostapenko 6-3, 6-2 in just over an hour at the Louis Armstrong Stadium to advance to the second round. This was the former World No.1's first top-10 win in over four years.

However, what caught the attention of many during the first round match between Osaka and Ostapenko, was the Japanese's striking outfit. She wore a custom Nike neon green dress with a ruffled tutu-like skirt, complemented by a large green bow on her back and green bows on her white shoes to complete her look.

Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle, who is a fashion influencer, took to social media to share a picture of Naomi Osaka's unique outfit and expressed her admiration for the tennis star's style .

Naomi Osaka will face Karolina Muchova in US Open 2024 2R

Naomi Osaka will take on Karolina Muchova in the second round of the 2024 US Open.

Leading up to the New York Slam, Muchova had only participated in one hard court tournament - the 2024 Cincinnati Open. She managed to defeat Dayana Yastremska 7-6(6), 6-2 in the first round of the WTA 1000 hard court event, but then fellt to sixth seed and eventual runner-up Jessica Pegula 7-5, 4-6, 2-6 in the second round.

At the US Open, Muchova kicked off her campaign at Flushing Meadows by securing a victory over Katie Volynets with a score of 6-3, 7-5 in the first round to secure her a spot in the second round where she will face Osaka.

Osaka and Muchova have previously met twice on the WTA Tour, with each player winning a match each. Their most recent encounter was in the second round of the 2021 Madrid Open, which the Czech won 6-4, 3-6, 6-1.

The winner of the Osaka-Muchova match will advance to face either American qualifier Varvara Lepchenko or Anastasia Potapova in the third round of the 2024 US Open.
