Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, has opened up about whether his efforts to transfer his love for the Washington Commanders to his wife and their daughter Olympia have seen any success. The 41-year-old also disclosed that Taylor Swift played a role in Olympia's allegiances when it came to the NFL.

Ohanian is a passionate fan of the Washington Commanders, often displaying his loyalty to the NFL team, which is worth $6.3 billion (according to Forbes). The Reddit co-founder recently attended the NFC wild-card matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Commanders, sharing his joy after his favorite team claimed a thrilling 23-20 win to book their spot in the playoffs.

With the Commanders taking on the Detroit Lions in a crucial clash on January 18, Alexis Ohanian showed off the delicious spread of ribs he had created at Olympia's request for the big game. An X user questioned whether the 41-year-old had managed to "convert" Serena Williams into a Commanders fan.

"Have you converted Serena to a Commanders fan yet?" the user asked.

Ohanian admitted that his efforts to convert the 23-time Grand Slam champion had gone in vain but proudly disclosed that Olympia cheered for the Commanders alongside "Taylor Swift's team," in reference to the singer's boyfriend Travis Kelce playing for the Kansas City Chiefs.

"Not yet but Olympia cheers for them in addition to "Taylor’s team,"" Ohanian responded.

Their household had a lot to celebrate as the Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans 23-14 to advance to the AFC championship game. Similarly, the Commanders claimed a 45-31 win over the Lions to reach the NFC championship clash.

Ohanian shared glimpses of their "amazing experience" on social media and proudly embraced the "Swiftie" label, thanking the popstar for making Olympia's first-ever concert unforgettable with her "fantastic performance."
