Collins took to Instagram to wish a happy birthday to Riske-Amritraj and heaped praise on her for being an amazing friend, calling her a beautiful person, inside and out. Collins wrote:
"I had to take the time to wish one of my favorite gals and truly amazing friend @riske4rewards a Happy Birthday 🎉🎁🎊🎈🎂 ILYSM 🪩🎉💕 A true beauty inside and out. You are the bee’s knee!!"
The World No. 11 also shared some pictures with Riske-Amritraj along with a video of them from a concert.
Collins is at SW19 for Wimbledon 2024 and won her first-round match against Clara Tauson 6-3, 7-6(4), and will now take on Dalma Galfi in the second round.
The American recently reminisced about her first experience at the Wimbledon Championships in an interview with The Telegraph. She said that she was overwhelmed with emotions when she came to SW19 for the first time in 2017. She also added that she always gets emotional here.
“I remember the coach I was travelling with said, ‘Who knows, this may be the only time we’re ever here’. I was so overwhelmed seeing this place for the first time, I had tears in my eyes as I was walking around. I always get emotional when I come to Wimbledon,” Danielle Collins said.
Danielle Collins: "So many incredible memories here, playing with my friend Alison Riske"

Danielle Collins recently talked about happy moments at Wimbledon in an interview with Tennis Channel. She reminisced about playing doubles with her good friend Alison Riske-Amritraj at Wimbledon 2023 and reaching the semifinals with Desirae Krawczyk at Wimbledon 2022.
"This hasn’t been a place where I have had my most success but it's one of my most favorite events to come to. So many incredible memories here, playing with my friend Alison Riske, doubles here last year, and making semis here with Des. I am hoping I can do some good stuff out here," she said.
Collins lamented not having a longer preparation time for the grass swing.
"I haven’t played a lot on grass. You literally go from playing French open and playing weeks and months on clay and then switching to grass and not having any time to practice and try things out. It was really nice to be at home and have that time to kind of experiment a few things with the movement."
Danielle Collins is set to retire from tennis after the end of the current season.
