Former tennis player Caroline Wozniacki has welcomed the festive season with a well-decorated Christmas tree at her house.
Wozniacki accompanied her husband David Lee in decorating the house. She was initially disappointed to have bought a fake tree for Christmas this time around as she never liked them. After much convincing, the Dane was giving it a try. She marked her dislike for such artificial trees on her Instagram story on December 1.
The tree seemed enormous and the couple did a splendid job at filling the branches with bells and colorful balls. They completed it up with a shining star on top.
The 32-year-old took to Instagram on Saturday to share a picture of the gigantic Christmas tree.
"Star is up. Our tree looks so pretty," she wrote in her Instagram story.
Besides the tree, Lee could be seen indulging in some decorative works. Referring to her husband, Wozniacki jokingly stated:
"Tall husband perks"
The former World No. 1 seems to be thoroughly imbibing the vibe of the festive season with all the preparation. She has been enjoying life lately with her near and dear ones. With the birth of her second child, the family of four is all set to celebrate Christmas in full fledge.
Earlier in the day, Caroline Wozniacki spent some time on the beach side. On her Instagram story, she can be seen walking and steering her new-born son James in a baby stroller.
"Beautiful day," she wrote in the story.
"Smells like Christmas at our house now" - Caroline Wozniacki credits Jessica Korda for her incandescent candle suggestion
Caroline Wozniacki intensified her festive preparations as she bought incandescent candles for her house to make it smell like Christmas.
The one-time Grand Slam champion took the advice of professional golfer Jessica Korda on picking out the candles. She took to Instagram to thank Korda for her suggestion as she was delighted with the quality of the product.
"Thank you @thejessicakorda for suggesting this candle! Smells like Christmas at our house now," she wrote in her Instagram story on Saturday.
The 2018 Australian Open champion retired from tennis back in January 2020 owing to her battle with rheumatoid arthritis. She is currently trying her hand at tennis commentary on several sports channels.
