Paula Badosa was overjoyed to reunite with her sister Jana Badosa following the conclusion 2024 WTA Tour. The Spaniard was on a romantic vacation with her boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsipas before catching up with her sister.
Badosa and Tsitsipas started dating in 2023 and following their successful campaign on the 2024 WTA and ATP Tour, the couple took off for Iceland for their first romantic vacation. After spending a few days in the there, they traveled to Switzerland.
The Spanish tennis ace has now returned from the Swiss Alps and flown to Dubai, UAE for a reunion with her teenage sister Jana. The World No. 12 shared a selfie with the 16-year-old on her Instagram handle and expressed her delight at getting to spend time with her sister.
Jana is a fellow tennis player and has played two singles matches on the ITF circuit in 2024. She lost to Australia's Marca Eran in the R32 of ITF/TENNIS EUROPE W50 and fellow Spaniard Lucia Llorca in the R32 of ITF/TENNIS EUROPE W35 earlier this year.
The Badosa sisters share a very close relationship with Paula once claiming Jana is the most important person in her life.

During an interview with the WTA in 2023, Paula Badosa revealed that she had been taking care of her sister Jana financially, helping her study and achieve her dreams in the USA. The 27-year-old noted she was protecting her as well and felt like her second mom.
“My younger sister, she’s 15 years old. Her name is Jana. We have a 10 year difference. I’m her older sister but as I say, at the same time, I always felt like I had to like, be her second mom.. I protect her so much, especially the role I’m playing with her right now, financially, I’m helping her. Her dream was always to come here to the US, to study, to learn English." she said (via The Tennis Letter on X).
The Spaniard further revealed that Jana was maturing quickly and that she was proud of her. She also called the 16-year-old the most important person in her life.
"Her maturity is growing so fast thanks to that. So I’m very proud of her. She’s the most important person in my life. She knows I would do anything for her & I just want her to have an opportunity to do whatever she wants, her dream. I had my opportunity to make my dream come true, so I just want that for her," Paula Badosa concluded.
The sisters regularly practice tennis with each other as well, with Paula coaching her youngster sibling.
