Paula Badosa was recently seen with a camera during an outing in Beijing, following in the footsteps of her boyfriend, Stefanos Tsitsipas, who also shares a passion for photography. The couple is now preparing to compete in the Asian hardcourt swing as they enter the final stretch of the 2024 season.

Badosa arrived in Beijing, China, ahead of the WTA 1000 event at the China National Tennis Center. She took to Instagram to upload images of her outing in Beijing. In one of the images, the Spaniard was seen using a camera.

Badosa and Tsitsipas began dating in 2023, and despite a brief split in May 2024, it seems the Greek's interests are rubbing off on the Spaniard. Tsitsipas has been passionate about photography for years and even runs an Instagram account dedicated to it (@stiopkyn).

In a Facebook post, over five years ago, Tsitsipas spoke about his love for photography.

"I first created my photography account in March 2018 with a dream and a vision of being able to share stories and capture moments from around the globe. I personally believe that photography allows me to be an artist, a maker, a creator. It’s a skill and a hobby that differs from others when it comes to imagination, creativity and observation," Tsitsipas wrote.

Further, he stated that through photography, he shapes "human perception" and it is a creative outlet. His goal with photography is to "inspire other people".

Recently, the couple visited Portugal after their North American hard court swings. Tsitsipas uploaded images of their visit on his photography account showing off his art.

Paula Badosa has arrived in Beijing and is set to participate in the China Open as the 15th seed. Several of the WTA Top 10 players are expected to compete in the WTA 1000 event.

Badosa has received a bye in the first round and is expected to face the winner of Lesia Tsurenko vs. Viktoriya Tomova in the second round.

Stefanos Tsitsipas, on the other hand, is fresh off of a victory in the Laver Cup. Team Europe, which included the Greek, got the better of Team World 13-11 in a tightly-contested battle.

The ATP World No. 12 will now travel to Tokyo where he will participate in the Japan Open at the Ariake Tennis Forest Park. Taylor Fritz is set to be the top seed at the event with Tsitsipas as the fourth. The Greek is set to take on a qualifier in the first round.
