For Spanish tennis sensation Paula Badosa, the weekend meant a dance off with Venezuela's 18-year-old rising star Carlos Silvestre. The former World No. 2 showed off her steps in an Instagram stories.

"Vamos a por el domingo (let's go for Sunday)", Badosa wrote in the caption to the video.

Silvestre also shared the video via his profile, along with the caption "dance classes."

After an injury-plagued 2023 season, Badosa enjoyed a steady run of form this year, winning her fourth WTA Tour title at Washington Open in August where she overcame Russia's Marie Bouzkova in the decider. The Spaniard also made it to the quarterfinals at the US Open, her second appearance in the last-eight stage of a major.

Badosa's season ended in the first round of the Billie Jean Cup, where she came up short against Poland's Iga Swiatek in her singles rubber. She finished the year with a 37-18 win-loss record.

“I'm very proud of myself. I'm back where I wanted to be and where I was aiming since my comeback (one of the best players in the world again)," Badosa wrote on social media, reflecting on her season.

Later this month, she is set to compete in the World Tennis League in Abu Dhabi as part of 'Team Eagles' alongside her boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsipas, WTA World No. 2 Swiatek, and Poland's Hubert Hurkacz. Last year, too, she participated in the event, representing 'Team Kites', which emerged as the runner-up. The Spaniard, 27, is set to kickstart her 2025 season at the Brisbane International.
