Paula Badosa recently shared a casual mirror selfie, featuring a morning coffee after securing a win in the third round of the 2025 Australian Open. Badosa began her campaign at the Grand Slam tournament following her participation in both the singles and doubles events at the Brisbane International, and subsequently competing in the singles at the Adelaide International.

Badosa is seeded 11th at the Melbourne Major and she commenced her campaign with a solid performance, defeating Wang Xinyu 6-3, 7-6(5) in the first round, and Australian wild card Talia Gibson 6-1, 6-0 in the second round. In the third-round match, the Spaniard triumphed over the 17th seed, Marta Kostyuk, with a score of 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 to secure her spot in the fourth round.

Celebrating her victory, Paula Badosa took to social media to share a stylish mirror selfie, dressed in a chic teal athleisure outfit while enjoying her morning coffee.

Looking at her performance at the 2025 Australian Open, Badosa has shown significant improvement from her third-round finish at the 2024 Melbourne Major. Last year, the former World No.2 defeated Taylor Townsend 6-1, 6-3, and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-2, 6-3 in the first and second rounds, respectively, before succumbing to Amanda Anisimova in the third round with a score of 5-7, 4-6.

Paula Badosa will take on Olga Danilovic in the fourth round of the 2025 Australian Open. Badosa's best result at the Grand Slam has been reaching the fourth round, a feat she has achieved twice, in 2022 and this year, in 2025. Similarly, Danilovic's best performance at the tournament has also been reaching the fourth round, which she accomplished this year.

Danilovic kicked off her 2025 Melbourne Major campaign by defeating Arantxa Rus 6-4, 6-4 in the first round and then proceeded to beat the 25th seed, Liudmila Samsonova, with a score of 6-1, 6-2 in the second round. Most recently, she secured her spot in the fourth round by defeating the seventh seed, Jessica Pegula, with a score of 7-6(3), 6-1 in the third round.

The upcoming match between Paula Badosa and Olga Danilovic will be their fourth meeting on the WTA Tour, with Danilovic winning two out of the three previous matches. Their most recent encounter was in the first round of the 2019 Abierto Zapopan in Guadalajara, where the Serb emerged victorious with a score of 6-4, 7-5.
