Ruud sported a red and white attire for his opening round match at the event, which left the fans confused as it was the same color as Denmark's flag. The Danish flag is red and white while Norway's flag is red, blue, and white.
Ruud dressed in a white and red t-shirt and shorts during his first-round match against Taro Daniel at the 2024 Paris Olympics. After the match, the two-time French Open finalist asked his fans on X (formerly Twitter) if he should add a hint of blue to his outfit.
"Should we try to add a little blue to this outfit for tomorrow?" Casper Ruud questioned.

Holger Rune missed the Paris Olympics 2024 due to a wrist injury
Holger Rune could not make the 2024 Paris Olympics roster for Team Denmark due to a wrist injury. He expressed his sorrow on X for missing the prestigious event and revealed that he had played with wrist pain throughout the clay and grass season.
"I am really sorry that I will be unable to play the Olympics. It's something I've been looking forward to playing and being a part of. I have played with pain in my wrist throughout both the clay and grass season, so I have to take the medical recommendations seriously," Rune said.
Rune added that he would support his country from home and hoped that they would win many medals.
"I will follow the Olympics from home and cheer on all the Danish athletes and I hope and believe that we can bring home many medals from Paris. Come on Denmark."
Rune also recently provided an update on his injury rehabilitation progress on X:
"Rehab progression 🙌🏼 Things seems to be going well so far," he wrote.
