Emma Raducanu recently shared a picture of her rocking a panda aesthetic during the holiday season. The player wrapped up her 2024 season after competing at the Billie Jean King Cup final.
Ahead of the Billie Jean King Cup, Raducanu competed in the Korea Open. She reached the third round, before giving a walkover in the match against Daria Kasatkina while trailing 1-6. She sustained a foot injury that led to her withdrawal from multiple other tournaments, such as the Hong Kong Open and the China Open. The British player's 2024 season did not pan out as expected as she faced early exits in most of the tournaments.
The player is currently gearing up for the 2025 season and will commence her year by competing in the ASB Classic, which is slated for December 30. Emma Raducanu is currently enjoying the holiday season and recently shared a picture on her Instagram story, where she was seen in panda aesthetics as she donned an all-black outfit, including a black puffer jacket and black track pants, pairing it with white shoes. In the picture, she was standing in a supermarket, with a panda emoji at the bottom.
Emma Raducanu opened up about competing in the upcoming tennis season
In an interview with the WTA last month, Emma Raducanu spoke about her abilities going into the 2025 season. She exuded confidence and called herself a 'dangerous player.' She said:
"My assessment is, I think sometimes I need reminding. I'm top 60 in the world and I have played less than 15 events, which is pretty unheard of, in a way.
"I have to pat myself on the back for that. I know I'm a dangerous player. I know no one wants to pull my name in the draw. I take pride in that, and I'm looking forward to hopefully staying on court longer next year."
In the Nottingham Open this year, the British player advanced to the semi-final, where she squared off against Katie Boulter. Raducanu lost the match 7-6(13), 3-6, 4-6. She qualified for the quarter-finals at Eastbourne International, where she was beaten by Daria Kasatkina in straight sets.
