Navratilova and Lemigova have been together since 2008 and are vocal about their love for each other. The two are strong advocates for equal rights for people in same-sex relationships and were the first lesbian couple to appear on the reality TV show Real Housewives of Miami.

Recently, Lemigova took to her Instagram story to share a snap of her dressed in an amazing pink outfit as she visited a beauty bar. In the photo, the Russian model was posing in front of a wall that read ‘Let’s get glam.’

Martina Navratilova and Lemigova first met in 2000 but didn't start dating until 2008. They got married in 2014, and the couple welcomed two sons through adoption recently.

After Martina Navratilova and Julia Lemigova began dating in 2008, the tennis star proposed to her partner at the 2014 US Open, with the proposal being broadcast on a big screen at the famed Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.

After the proposal, Navratilova revealed she hadn't originally planned for the moment to be so public, telling People Magazine,

“Originally it wasn’t the idea to do it at the U.S. Open, on the Jumbotron and all that, but then it was, ‘Why not? I’ve seen it in movies!’ And it all came off, everything worked out perfectly!”

“I’m 58 years old, I got married for the first time – it’s about time, right? Growing up as a gay woman you just don’t ever think about that, and then I thought, about 10 years ago, ‘You know, I think within 10 years gay marriage will be legal.’ And here we are, 10 years later, making it legal,’ she went on to add.

Meanwhile, Lemigova hoped her marriage to the tennis star would give hope to families like theirs, telling the Daily Mail,

“I think that seeing couples like us marry is important. Marriage is a natural progression — and something that just isn’t questioned with heterosexual couples. I really hope that us marrying in such a public way gives hope to families like ours.”

Martina Navratilova is a mother figure to Julia Lemigova’s two daughters from a previous marriage. The couple also adopted two sons recently, and live together in Miami.
