Paula Badosa recently shared a heartwarming selfie with her sister, Jana. The photo captured a sweet moment where Jana is seen peacefully asleep on Badosa's shoulder.
The former World No. 2 wrapped up her 2024 season by representing Spain in the first round of the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup Finals against Poland. She faced Iga Swiatek in a singles match, ultimately falling short with a score of 3-6, 7-6(5), 1-6.
Following the conclusion of her tennis season, Badosa spent some time away from tennis. She spent her time off with her loved ones and also enjoyed a romantic holiday in Iceland with her boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Badosa also participated in the World Tennis League held in Abu Dhabi where she was a part of Team Eagles alongside Swiatek, Tsitsipas, and Alexander Shevchenko. Her sister, Jana, also joined her in the United Arab Emirates during the exhibition tournament.
Recently, Paula Badosa took to social media to share an endearing selfie with her sister where Jana is seen hugging the former World No. 2 from behind while asleep on her shoulder.

After an injury-plagued 2023 season, Badosa returned to the court in 2024 at the Adelaide International where she fell in the first round. She won one title this year, the Citi Open. She also had semifinal runs at the Cincinnati Open and the China Open.
The Spaniard started the 2024 season outside the Top 50 ranking but her good performances pushed her into ending the year as the World No. 12. She also won the Comeback Player of the Year at the WTA Awards.
Paula Badosa will begin her 2025 season in Australia at the Brisbane International
Paula Badosa will kick off her 2025 season at the Brisbane International. This will also mark her tournament debut at this event. The WTA 500 hardcourt tournament in Queensland is scheduled to commence on December 30, 2024, and will run until January 6, 2025, with matches being held at the Queensland Tennis Centre.
The Brisbane International will also see players like Aryna Sabalenka, Jessica Pegula, Emma Navarro, Victoria Azarenka, and Daria Kasatkina, among others, competing for the title.
Following the conclusion of the WTA 500 tournament, Badosa will then shift her focus to the Australian Open. Her best performance at the Melbourne Major was in 2022 when she reached the fourth round before being defeated by Madison Keys, who went on to play in the semifinals.
