"Proud every single day" - Daria Kasatkina's girlfriend Natalia Zabiiako pens heartfelt note after witnessing Russian's Ningbo Open triumph 

Daria Kasatkina's girlfriend, Natalia Zabiiako, penned a heartfelt note on the Russian's title triumph at the 2024 Ningbo Open. Kasatkina defeated compatriot Mirra Andreeva over three sets on Sunday (October 20) to claim her second title of the season.

Kasatkina got off to a flying start, winning the opening set 6-0. Andreeva displayed a valiant fight to draw level and take a 3-0 lead in the decider. However, Kasatkina held her nerves and capitalized on the youngster's unforced errors to seal the match, 6-0, 4-6, 6-4.

Zabiiako attended the match at the Yinzhou Tennis Centre on Sunday. She took to X to express her pride in her partner's title win and posted a picture of the couple with the trophy.

"I am proud of you every single day, my love @DKasatkina And today your incredible hard work paid off,"

Kasatkina defeated the likes of Katerina Siniakova and Yulia Putintseva on her way to the final. She received a walkover on two other occasions. Her first-round opponent Anna Bondar withdrew from the tournament, while the semifinal clash with Paula Badosa saw the Spaniard retire citing dizziness after losing the first set 4-6.

Kasatkina is often accompanied by Zabiiako on the tour. The couple traveled together to China as Zabiiako cheered the Russian from the stands towards title glory at the Ningbo Open.

Kasatkina and Zabiiako have been dating for more than three years. The couple opened up about their relationship in 2022 and since have been keeping fans updated on social media.

Daria Kasatkina and Natalia Zabiiako recently celebrated their three years of togetherness. It was during her scintillating run at the Ningbo Open that the World No. 9 cherished the special day with her partner.

On the occasion, Kasatkina took to Instagram to share a few pictures. While one picture showed the couple striking a fashionable pose, another captured their candid moment on the tennis court. The post also included a picture of Zabiiako carrying a puppy.

On the tennis front, Daria Kasatkina will next play at the 2024 Toray Pan Pacific Open. Seeded third in the WTA 500 event, Kasatkina has received a first-round bye. She will face either Elisabetta Cocciaretto or McCartney Kessler in the second round.
