Rafael Nadal's sister Maribel brought in the festive cheers as she celebrated 2024 Christmas with her family. The Spaniard rocked a cozy Christmas fit on the occasion.

Maribel, deputy general director of the Rafa Nadal Academy, has always shared a close bond with her family, including the Spanish legend. She ensured to take her time off from her business ventures to ring in Christmas by taking part in her family's gathering.

Taking to social media on Wednesday, December 25, Maribel shared a few pictures of her time with her family. The Spaniard donned a beige sweatshirt with black stripes. She paired it with casual blue jeans.

"Bon (good) Nadal," Maribel wrote on her Instagram stories.

Maribel also posted a group photo including around 39 members of the family. Rafael Nadal could also be spotted in the right end of the picture, donning a cream colored hoodie and light blue jeans.

The Rafa Nadal Academy (RNA) also held Christmas celebrations in Mallorca, Spain. They conducted the RNA awards, during which the Spanish legend was felicitated with a memento to honor his legendary career.

Rafael Nadal's sister Maribel fondly reflected on celebrating Christmas with the Spanish tennis legend at their academy. The 14-time French Open champion was awarded a trophy marked '92' to celebrate the 92 titles he won during his career.

The Spaniard, upon receiving the award, delivered a special Christmas speech. He expressed his gratitude to everyone who gathered and made the funiction a reality after the hardships they faced during the year.

"Well, good evening, everyone. I want to start by thanking you all. This year, we experienced two major floods, and I'm aware of the tremendous effort each of you made to restore everything to normal as quickly as possible. So, really, a thousand thanks to all of you who made it possible to resolve this in the best way," the Spaniard said.

He labelled the members of the academy as "one big family" that strived each day for "excellence."

"In the end, I believe we are all one big family here, striving for daily excellence. I thank you and send you energy and courage to continue making this place unique, special, and, above all, to these boys and girls who come to us at a young age and to the parents who entrust us with their most precious beings," he added.

Maribel later shared her brother's memorable speech during the function on her Instagram Stories.

The RNA was founded in 2016 and its major facility is located in Manacor. Operations for the facility began in June 2016 and was officially inaugrated four months later. It suffered damage this year due to flash floods.
