"Really proud of our justice system for a change" - Martina Navratilova reacts as former US President Donald Trump found guilty in Hush Money case

Martina Navratilova recently reacted to former US President Donald Trump being found guilty of all 34 counts in the Hush Money case. She also expressed pride in the American judicial system.

A jury of 12 people found Trump guilty on all charges of falsifying business records ahead of the 2016 presidential elections. The judge will announce the sentence on July 11. However, this would not stop the former president from running for the US Presidential candidacy in the upcoming elections.

Navratilova reacted to the news on her X (formerly Twitter) handle.

"GUILTY, GUILTY,GUILTY, Bye Felicia!!!!" Navratilova wrote.

Navratilova added:

"GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS!!!! THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN! donald trump is now officially a CRIMINAL FELON!!!!!!!!! #karmahasspoken."

Navratilova hailed the justice system and wondered about the magnitude of Trump's crime to be unanimously found guilty on all counts after previously serving as the US president.

"Imagine just how guilty you have to be to be unanimously found guilty by 12 people on all counts despite the fact that you are a former president!!! Really proud of our justice system for a change. Well done!"

Martina Navratilova expressed her delight after former US President Donald Trump was found guilty and reacted to it on X. A user joked that Trump got all the votes and still claimed that it was rigged. The user alluded to Trump's claims of the 2020 presidential election being rigged in incumbent President Joe Biden's favor.

"Finally, he got EVERY vote, and he STILL says it's rigged," a user wrote.

In another tweet, Navratilova said that Karma was a woman. She also credited journalist E. Jean Carroll and pornographic actor Stormy Daniels for their courage in pursuit of the case. Carroll won the lawsuit against Trump in 2023 after she accused the former President of sexually assaulting her while he was in office.

Stormy Daniels, on the other hand, alleged that Trump's former attorney paid her $ 130,000 to buy her silence regarding the alleged one-night stand between her and the former president in 2006. The controversy grew in magnitude and Trump was charged for falsifying business records.
