India’s Rohan Bopanna, paired with Australia’s Matthew Ebden, is seeded sixth for the prestigious ATP Finals, set to take place from November 11 to 17. This year-end tournament features the top eight singles players and doubles teams, marking the season's close in a competitive showdown.
The Indo-Australian duo, who won the Australian Open title earlier this season, is placed in the Bob Bryan Group. Their opening match will pit them against Italy's Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori, who are seeded fourth.
Competing in the Bob Bryan Group, alongside India's Rohan Bopanna and Australia's Matthew Ebden, are Germany's Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz, as well as the Croatian-El Salvadorian team of Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic.
The second group, named after Mike Bryan, Bob's twin brother, pays tribute to the Bryan brothers’ longstanding dominance in doubles tennis.
In this format, the two highest-ranked teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, bringing added intensity to each matchup. Teams in each group will contest in a round-robin format before making it to the semifinals.
