Hollywood actor Steve Carell, best known for his role in 'The Office,' recently dropped by Wimbledon, where he had the chance to pose with Iga Swiatek. During his visit, Carell and his wife Nancy also revealed that they are big fans of Jelena Ostapenko, sparking hilarious reactions from tennis fans.

Ahead of the release of his upcoming film 'Despicable Me 4' in the United Kingdom on July 12, Steve Carell toured the Wimbledon grounds. During his visit to the All England Club, the 61-year-old had the opportunity to take a photo with Swiatek and converse with former British player Laura Robson.

As the pictures from his visit began circulating on social media, Robson disclosed that Carell and his wife Nancy told her that they love watching Jelena Ostapenko compete.

"Steve and his wife Nancy told me they love watching Ostapenko 🫶🏼 we love them," she posted on X.

Tennis fans couldn't contain their amusement at the revelation of Carell's fondness for Ostapenko, especially in light of him posing with Iga Swiatek, given the Latvian's perfect 4-0 record against the World No. 1.

If the World No. 1 triumphs over Kenin, she will face the winner of the match between Francesca Jones and Petra Martic. Angelique Kerber and Katerina Siniakova loom as Iga Swiatek's potential third-round opponents.

Ostapenko, meanwhile, will take on Ajla Tomljanovic in her opening match, followed by a second-round clash against Daria Snigur or Oceane Dodin. She will potentially face Caroline Garcia or Anastasia Potapova in the third round.
