Sebastian Korda-conqueror, Tomas Machac, was spotted sporting a sponsorship patch for Ben Crump during the second-round match against the American at the US Open 2024 on August 29. Crump is an acclaimed lawyer who represented George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and many other 'Black Lives Matter' victims.

Ben Rothenberg, host of the "No Challenges Remaining" podcast, shared an image of Machac wearing the path on X (formerly Twitter).

"Not a #USOpen advertiser I’d expect: Ben Crump, the attorney who notably represented the families of George Floyd Breonna Taylor, and Trayvon Martin, has a patch on Tomas Machac’s sleeve," Rothenberg wrote on X.

Dusan Lajovic, too, was spotted with a similar patch during his match against Daniil Medvedev in the first round. Medvedev prevailed over the Serb in four sets at Louis Armstrong Stadium.

"NYC vibes. Tough one yesterday Shoutout to @amd and @attorneycrump for the support," Lajovic wrote on Instagram.

Ben Crump also took to Instagram to announce their partnership with Lajovic, saying that the firm supports underdogs, on and off the tennis court.

"Proud to sponsor #USOpen with Dusan Lajovicewearing the BCL logo while playing in the iconic Louis Armstrong Stadium. We stand for the underdog in every arena — on and off the tennis court. Thank you, Dusan!"

Sebastian Korda was stunned by Tomas Machac in the second round at the 2024 US Open. The Czech secured a 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 victory to advance to the third round.

Korda began the match on the front foot as he raced to a 4-2 lead in the first set. However, he lost his momentum and dropped four games in a row to lose the first set 4-6. In the second set, Machac made no errors and won 6-2 to go 2-0 up.

In the third set, the World No. 16 again took the lead as he gained a 4-1 advantage. However, he was outplayed by the Czech, as Korda lost the set 4-6 to crash out of the New York Slam.

It is important to note that Korda was suffering from a right elbow injury throughout the match.
