The American started his year on a promising note, winning the Citi Open title and reaching the Canadian Open semifinals. However, the season did not pan out as expected, for he had to withdraw from several tournaments after the US Open, citing an injury in his right elbow.

Sebastian Korda and Ivana Nedved started dating in 2021 and disclosed their relationship via social media. Earlier this year, the American opened up on Ivana's supportive role in his career.

Speaking to Daily Express in an exclusive in July this year, Sebastian Korda opened up about his relationship with his girlfriend, Ivana Nedved. He remarked that she understood the difficulties of being a professional athlete, owing to her background.

“I mean she understands, the best thing is she understands sports which is great,” Sebastian Korda said. “She understands how difficult it is to be a professional athlete and that there’s a lot of sacrifices."

Praising his partner, he further added:

"She’s an amazing partner to have and I’m very lucky to have someone that just understands it and always is trying to be there and just always being there is probably the biggest key.”

The couple frequently shares posts on social media, offering a glimpse of the quality time they spend together. Ivana recently shared some pictures of her return to Italy on her Instagram story, showcasing a table filled with white flowers, bottles, and macarons.

Meanwhile, her boyfriend Sebastian Korda had an underwhelming campaign on the tour this year. In an injury-affected season, Korda couldn't advance further than the second round in the US Open, losing to Tomas Machac in straight sets.
