Sebastian Korda's sister Nelly Korda reacts to the American taking a trip to Minnesota to cheer on Vikings NFL team

Sebastian Korda recently paid a visit to Minnesota to cheer for the NFL team, the Minnesota Vikings. The player's older sister and golf star, Nelly Korda, reacted to his visit to the stadium.

Sebastian did not have a fulfilling 2024 season as he had to withdraw from the season after the US Open. He faced an early exit in the second round of the tournament against Tomas Machac with a score of 6-4, 6-2, 6-4. Following this, the American withdrew from multiple tournaments citing an elbow injury. The 24-year-old kicked off the year on a positive note, as he won the title of the Citi Open after defeating Flavio Cobolli with a score of 4-6, 6-2, 6-0.

After the Citi Open, Sebastian also advanced to the semifinals of the Canadian Open, where he was defeated by 7(7)-6(0), 6-3. The player informed his fans and followers about his elbow surgery, and weeks after that, he visited Minnesota to cheer the Vikings on December 8 for their match against the Atlanta Falcons.

Sebastian shared a carousel of pictures and videos on his Instagram account, showcasing his time at the stadium. He added the caption:

"Quick trip to Minnesota for a @vikings W.SKOL."

Reacting to this post, Sebastian's elder sister, Nelly Korda, who is also a golf prodigy, commented:

"Boys tripppppp."

After Nelly won the Annika in November 2024, Sebastian Korda praised his elder sister, calling her 'fierce.' Along with this, he shared that she is hardworking and also opened up about how the golf star is like his sister.

"I think competitor, what you see is what you get. She's absolutely fierce. She's clutch. There is no one I guess works harder than her. She's an incredible hard worker and all that she achieves she earns. Just a lot of fun to watch her do her thing," said Sebastian Korda.

Opening about Nelly as a sister, the tennis player added:

"Extremely supportive. She watches almost all my matches whether I'm playing in Australia, Asia. She's always texting me and watching me. I couldn't ask for more as a sister."

Sebastian Korda and Nelly Korda were born into a family of athletes, as their parents, Petr and Regina Korda, were tennis stars, and her elder sister, Jessica Korda, has attained victory in six LPGA Tour tournaments.
