Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian shared how the "Michelangelo Effect" sparked a major epiphany about "past mistakes" in relationships and business.

He posted a clip from the Modern Wisdom Podcast, where Matthew McConaughey and English podcaster Chris Williamson discuss how close connections can affirm each other's strengths and ideals, fostering mutual growth over time.

“The Michelangelo Effect describes a situation in a relationship, friendship or intimate partnership where each partner sees the best in the other and tries to help bring that out. So the sum of the parts is greater than it is individually. I think in life we want to be finding people that believe in you more than you believe in you. They hold you to higher standards,” Chris Williamson said.

“I think that’s the definition of a good friend. I think the definition of a good partner. It's the definition of a good husband, wife. You know that they remind us of the best of ourselves,” Matthew McConaughey added.

Ohanian added:
