Serena Williams' $150 million-worth husband Alexis Ohanian laments difficulty managing work-life balance

Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian has shared his difficulties balancing his professional and personal life. He is the co-founder of the popular social media app Reddit.

Ohanian is highly active on social media. He shares escapades from his personal life, discusses his ongoing and upcoming projects with his fans, and expresses his views on some of the latest happenings in women's sports, etc. At the same time, he also keeps up with his dad duties taking care of his daughters Olympia and Adira.

It is no surprise to anyone that a person with Ohanian's busy schedule would find difficulty taking time out for their family. He highlighted such a dilemma when he reacted to a meme on X (formerly Twitter). The meme showed two red buttons, one reading, "Actually take some time off,' while the other read, "Work on personal projects and call it 'relaxing.'"

Serena Williams' husband's response to the tweet implied how he related to the meme:

The Reddit co-founder is also a master at making the right investments. Earlier this month, he recalled how a $10,000 investment turned into $17.1 million during his appearance on the 20VC podcast.

The American, a huge advocate for women's sports, was the brainchild behind the highly successful inaugural edition of Athlos NYC, an extravagant track and field event celebrating women athletes. He also co-owns the National Women's Soccer League team Angel City FC alongside his wife and many other celebrities.

However, her husband is not the only one finding it hard to maintain a work-life balance. Serena Williams has also opened up about her struggles.

Last week, Serena Williams shared a video of her tired self lying on a table, looking exhausted yet seemingly attending a work call. Just like Alexis Ohanian, she lamented how she had to handle her many business ventures while looking after Olympia and Adira. She captioned the Instagram post:

"My Monday - I was so tired & this was the best I could do. Some days your best may not look as pretty as other days, but running an active beauty brand (@wyn) running after 2 girls, and a VC company (@serena.ventures) lets just say I was exhausted and quite delirious. How was your Monday?"

Williams hung up her racket in 2022 but has ventured into various fields such as writing, business, and voice acting. She also shared she was a night owl and used the late nights to catch up on emails and messages. Her net worth is currently a staggering $300 million.
