Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian shared his thoughts over Donald Trump's presidential inauguration ceremony and claimed he had a 'trippy' experience watching the action unfold from England. The tech mogul had endorsed former vice-president Kamal Harris in the 2024 Presidential Elections.

Trump was sworn in as the 47th US President on Monday, January 20, inside the Capitol Rotunda and signed a stream of executive orders following the oath-taking ceremony. Ohanian, who boasts a $150M net worth per Celebrity Net Worth, was in the United Kingdom during the inauguration ceremony and said he had a "trippy" experience watching the action unfold in Washington.

"NGL kinda trippy experiencing Inauguration Day from England," he wrote, sharing an image of Trump on the front cover of the Financial Times.

The Reddit co-founder had backed Kamala Harris during the Presidential elections before Trump registered a landslide victory. Following the election results in November 2024, Ohanian said:

"Lots to learn from this election."

However, Ohanian said last week that he was curious to see how Trump does in the first 100 days after noticing a massive shift in vibe in the previous months.

"The vibe shift in the USA in the last few months or so has been MASSIVE. Genuinely curious to see how the first 100 days go," Ohanian expressed.

After returning for his second term on Monday, Trump signed a flurry of executive orders including rescinding 78 Biden-era executive actions and overturning diversity programs and LGBTQ+ protections.

Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian has emphasized that one should vote for leaders who are proficient in technology and are spending time with the builders of it. The Reddit co-founder argued that it would help them achieve the best results for America and humanity in general.

"Who you vote for matters. And it's more important than ever that the folks in office are at least proficient in technology and are spending time with builders to understand the potential paths so that we can get the best possible outcome for America & humanity," he wrote.

Ohanian married the 23-time Grand Slam champion in 2017 after the birth of their first daughter Olympia. The couple welcomed their second daughter, Adira, a year after Williams' retirement in August 2023.
