Serena Williams recently shared an up close and personal moment of herself brewing tea in her home's kitchen. Williams used a combination of tea leaves with healing properties and honey to brew the beverage, and all the ingredients were sourced from her and husband Alexis Ohanian's farm. The tennis legend also revealed that she used honey as an ingredient because she would be sharing the tea with her daughter Olympia.

Williams and Ohanian's family farm in Florida, close to Miami, is a rich source of organically-produced vegetarian and dairy products for the power couple and their daughters Olympia and Adira River. In the past, Reddit co-founder Ohanian has expressed his enthusiasm about the farm, which also happens to be a source of the family's tea.

Recently, Serena Williams took to her Instagram Stories and shared three self-made videos, in which the former World No. 1 takes viewers through her process of making tea using Soursop and Moringa leaves. The 23-time singles Grand Slam champion can also be seen using a copious amount of honey. According to Williams, she used the honey to sweeten up the tea for daughter Olympia.

"Good morning y'all. So my husband isn't home and on the farm that we have, we have lots of different things, Soursop trees and we have this tree called Moringa, and they both have incredibly healing properties. I take the leaves from the trees, I dehydrate them, and then I make this tea. So I just pour a little Soursop in there. We also have bees, so I'll get some honey and I pour it in our tea kettle, and I start to make some tea," Williams said.

"So this honey is from the bees that we have in our farm. I'm making my team with a lot of honey because I like to give it to Olympia. Moringa and Soursop have a lot of healing properties," she added.

Williams baked a pie for the first time in her life in December 2023, but despite it being her maiden attempt at making the baked delicacy, Alexis Ohanian was quite impressed with the results. The Reddit co-founder took to X (formerly Twitter) and lauded his wife's baking skills, writing:

"Serena's first pie is somehow already an 8.5 out of 10. She's too good at baking."

Later, in an exchange with an X user, Ohanian stated that Williams' baking skills were not up to par prior to COVID-19. However, according to the entrepreneur and investor, the former World No. 1 made the most of staying at home during COVID-19 by committing to getting better at baking.
