Serena Williams' daughter Olympia perfects her golf swing, father Alexis Ohanian points out where she got her athleticism from

Reddit-co founder Alexis Ohanian is a proud father, often sharing special moments from the lives of his two daughters with tennis legend Serena Williams, namely, Olympia and Adira.

In the latest instance, Ohanian shared Olympia's progress in golf. On Sunday (December 29), the 41-year-old post a six-second clip of his daughter taking a swing at the golf course on X (the erstwhile Twitter).

Ohanian also shared the video on his Instagram stories, sharing some more insights into the origins of Olympia's athletic prowess. The 7-year-old, according to her father, got her height from her father, athletic ability from her mother, and learned her golf swing from her coach, Brittany Ferrante.

"Height by papa, athleticism by mama, swing by @briittany_ferrante," Ohanian wrote.

Notably, Ohanian stands at an impressive 196 cm (6.43 feet) tall, which far exceeds the national average in the US. Ferrante, who is the Director of Junior Golf Tequesta Country Club and Olympia's coach, also shared the post on her Instagram stories.

"Proud coach," she wrote. "That's my girl."

Since retiring from tennis, Serena Williams has fully embraced her role as a mother to her two young daughters. In October, she shared a glimpse into their world, showcasing a montage of activities from her life, such as engaging in play sessions with her younger daughter Adira and imparting tennis lessons to Olympia.

"My life is very different now. Instead of chasing balls, I’m chasing #Adira and helping #Olympia with tennis lessons and cooking. (And, all this is in-between Venture Capital calls)," she captioned the post on X.

Williams has revealed that she retired from tennis, despite being able to play at a very high level, to be able to spend more time with her family.

Alexis Ohanian recently shared a mirror selfie at a gym and commented on X why he is so focused on his fitness.

A netizen responded, advising him, "Get jacked and become a gentle giant."

Ohanian responded his motivation for staying fit.

"For my girls," read his response.

Earlier this year, Ohanian appeared on the podcast "Business Dad" and asserted that becoming a father has changed his life.

He said, "One of the things that really changed my life was becoming a father. One of the reasons for that was I realized that after spending so much of my life really focused on myself and building my career, I now had this little human who I just cared so much more about than anything else."

Alexis Ohanian proposed to Serena Williams in 2016 and the two married in November 2017. Williams and Ohanian's older daughter, Olympia, was born on September 1, 2017. Their second daughter, Adria, was born on August 15, 2023.
