Serena Williams' childhood coach, Rick Macci, recently made his feelings known about Novak Djokovic as he shared a tribute to his skills. The Serb wrapped up his 2024 season after competing at the Six Kings Slam in Riyadh.

The Serb had a roller coaster run in the 2024 season as he reached the finals and semi-finals of various tournaments but couldn't take the triumph. In events like the Shanghai Masters, Wimbledon, Geneva Open, and others, he reached the semifinals and finals but failed to nab the title.

The player is now ready to kickstart his 2025 campaign by competing at the Brisbane International, and his first singles game is scheduled to be held on December 30 against Rinky Hijikata. Along with this, he will also be competing in the doubles match on December 29 with Nick Kyrgios on his team.

Amid this, the 37-year-old received a glowing tribute from Serena Williams' ex-coach Rick Macci, who took to his X account and opened up about what he loves about the Serb. Appreciating the player's will to compete, he wrote:

"What I Love most about the Serbian Sniper the Rubber Band Man and this is the true cornerstone of greatness. The Goat man just loves to Play. He just loves to Compete. He just loves the Battle. He just loves the street Fight. The Joker still loves shuffling the deck! @DjokerNole"

Of course, this is not the first time Macci has voiced his support for Djokovic. The coach backed him recently to break Margaret Court's record while also stating that the icon has nothing left to prove.

Novak Djokovic is headed to compete at the Australian Open to pursue his 25th Grand Slam title. If the Serb wins this title, he will surpass Margaret Court's long-standing record. Emphasizing this, Serena Williams' ex-coach, Rick Macci, extended his support toward Djokovic by sharing a tweet on his X handle that read:

“The Serbian Sniper has nothing left to prove except to himself. ONE MORE= BECAUSE MR.GOAT WON MORE @DjokerNole," wrote Rick Macci.

Not just this, he shared another tweet in support of Djokovic, stating that the Serb will solidify his dominance if he wins one more Grand Slam title in 2025.

"If he wins One More Grand Slam in 2025 at his age the Serbian Goat will change the meaning of rare air to the rarest of air. @DjokerNole."

Novak Djokovic did not have his best year as he fell short of winning titles in his 2024 campaign. He reached the finals of the Shanghai Masters, where he squared off against Jannik Sinner, but the latter dominated the match with a score of 7-6(7), 6-3.
