Coco Gauff & Taylor Townsend send their love to Serena Williams-Simone Biles power duo

Coco Gauff and Taylor Townsend both gushed over Serena Williams' recent meeting with Simone Biles. Williams shared pictures of herself in candid conversation with Biles, a seven-time Olympic gold medalist and the most decorated gymnast of all time.

Williams and Biles' meeting came at a women-centric event jointly produced by Swiss luxury watchmakers Audemars Piguet, American fashion and culture magazine Vanity Fair, and woman-owned workplace gender equality seekers Female Quotient. Both dressed up in all-black outfits for the gathering.

While the tennis legend went for a long, body-hugging black dress, the gymnast wore a full-sleeved black top and paired it with a short skirt of the same color. Serena Williams took to Instagram to share a few moments from the event, with one of the pictures featuring her and Simone Biles all smiles as they conversed with each other.

Williams captioned the post:

"Yesterday, I sat with the GOAT @simonebiles at AN EVENING OF IMPACTFUL CONVERSATION with @audemarspiguet @vanityfair @femalequotient and a house full of women. I love to see it."

Coco Gauff and Taylor Townsend took notice of Williams' post and both commented on it.

"🐐 🐐 😍," Gauff commented.

"Slayyyyy❤️❤️🔥," commented Townsend.

At the 2024 US Open, Simone Biles attended the women's singles quarterfinal showdown between Jessica Pegula and Iga Swiatek. During her presence at Flushing Meadows, Biles was quizzed about her ideal tennis partner and also an active tennis player who, in her opinion, could be an adept gymnast.

The gymnast picked Serena Williams as the answer to the tennis partner question, saying:

"Definitely, Serena Williams. I mean she is the GOAT in tennis, so that would be my partner if I had to choose."

When it came to picking the tennis player who could excel as an gymnast, Biles picked Coco Gauff.

"I feel like there's so many. Honestly tennis players are taller than I thought. But maybe Coco," Biles said.

While Williams bid her farewell to tennis following a third-round loss at the 2022 US Open, Gauff is only just getting started, having won nine WTA Tour-level singles titles, including the 2023 US Open and the 2024 WTA Finals.
