Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian are a power couple of the tennis world, and they often give fans an insight into their lives with their two daughters. Most recently, Ohanian shared an adorable snap of him and Adira, the duo's younger daughter, while praising the toddler for always having the ‘best energy’.
Williams and Ohanian have been together since 2015, after a chance meeting when they were in Rome. Two years into their relationship, the couple welcomed their first child, Olympia, in 2017, before getting married later that same year.
In 2023, a year after Serena Williams called time on her tennis career, she gave birth to the duo’s second child, Adira. Both Williams and Ohanian give fans regular updates on their lives with their children, sharing snaps from their everyday schedules.

Serena Williams on how Adira reminds her of herself
Serena Williams has always been vocal about her journey as a mother, often sharing the ups and downs she faces with fans. In a recent interview with People Magazine, the tennis star opened up about her younger daughter Adira, calling the toddler ‘amazing' and saying that she reminded her of herself.
“Olympia is a very hard act to follow, but I tell you what, Adira has followed it and it's just so crazy. She's amazing. I just can't wait for people to see how amazing she is in her own way. And she's so special and she's so tough. She's just a tough little cookie. And she reminds me a lot of me in that aspect.”
In the same interview, Williams also shared that being a younger sister herself, she often finds herself looking out for Adira, saying:
“I’m like Olympia, ‘Make sure you share your toys. I know what it's like, I have to stick up for Adira. I have a little soft spot for the younger sister, so I'm like, ‘You go girl, you can do it too’. And I love that.”
Serene Williams had an extraordinary career as a tennis player, establishing herself as one of the best to have ever played the game. She won 23 individual Grand Slam titles and 16 doubles Grand Slam titles. She was ranked World No.1 for 319 weeks, and also clinched four Olympic gold medals. Since her retirement, Williams has shifted her focus to other adventures, including her venture capital firm Serena Ventures.
