Serena Williams' husband and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian proudly displayed a limited edition trading card of tennis star Carlos Alcaraz. This came after Alcaraz amusingly fumbled through several attempts to identify the most expensive tennis card in a lighthearted guessing game.

During the guessing game posted on Instagram by Topps, a leading trading card manufacturer, Alcaraz initially guessed male tennis icons like Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic. However, when given a hint that the card belonged to a female tennis star, Alcaraz correctly identified Serena Williams.

The card in question, a 2003 NetPro International Series Authentic Apparel Patch Autograph PSA 8/AUTO 10, was revealed to be worth a staggering $266,400 and is owned by none other than Ohanian himself.

On December 21, 2024, Ohanian reshared the video of Alcaraz’s guessing game on his Instagram Story, playfully teasing the young Spaniard for not getting the answer right immediately.

"@carlitosalcarazz I'm gonna let it slide that you didn't guess right the first time," Ohanian wrote.

To top it off, Ohanian proudly displayed his 2022 NETPRO Limitless Collection Carlos Alcaraz Jersey Autograph Rookie Card, which features a match-worn piece from the Spaniard’s 2022 French Open shirt and a bold autograph in black ink.

"Proof I also collect @carlitosalcarazz cards not just Serena," Ohanian wrote.

Alexis Ohanian’s passion for collecting trading cards is well-documented. Over the years, he has built an impressive collection spanning various sports, including basketball, boxing, and racing, in addition to his growing cache of superhero-themed cards. Most notably, Ohanian has amassed an unparalleled collection of Serena Williams trading cards, with over 4,500 pieces worth approximately $2.5 million.

In a recent collaboration with trading card marketplace ALT, Alexis Ohanian proudly displayed his extensive collection of over 4,500 Serena Williams trading cards.

Ohanian explained that he assembled this collection to ensure that future generations of his family would have a tangible connection to the tennis legend's legacy.

"The whole plan for this is that like grandkids, great grandkids, they'll have this collection and probably hundred years from now, museums will want to put pieces of this up for the public display. But I don't want our grandkids to ever have to go to museums to see someone else's possession. They should be the ones renting it out. So that's why we got the greatest collection of all time for you [Serena Williams]," Ohanian said.

In October 2023, Alexis Ohanian shared his excitement about his seven-year-old daughter, Olympia, developing a growing interest in sports trading cards.
