Serena Williams is enjoying her time at the 2024 Paris Olympics with her family. The 42-year-old recently shared a glimpse of the swimming event, where she cheered for USA's male swimmers along with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and daughter, Olympia. American breaststroker Nic Fink clinched a silver in the men's 100-meter breaststroke final, held in Paris La Défense Arena.
Williams recently attended the opening ceremony of the marquee event, where she carried the Olympic torch in a boat on the Seine River. Moreover, the American was accompanied by the likes of Rafael Nadal, Carl Lewis, and the legendary gymnast Nadia Comaneci.
Days after the opening ceremony, Serena Williams was present live during the swimming men's 200-meter freestyle semifinal and the men's 100-meter breaststroke final. The 23-time Grand Slam champion shared a glimpse of the race on Instagram. Moreover, she shared a clip featuring Ohanian and Olympia.

Meanwhile, Romanian swimmer David Popovici won the 200-meter freestyle semifinals with Britain's Duncan Scott in second, and USA's Luke Hobson in third. The top eight including Hobson, Scott, and Popovici have qualified for the final (medal event) on Monday, July 29.

Serena Williams recently shared her experience from the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics. The 42-year-old wrote on X ( formerly Twitter) that it was an unforgettable experience, despite the pouring rain causing her eyelashes to fall off, while she was on the boat.
"Have you ever had an unforgettable moment? That was yesterday for me. Truly unforgettable. From being part of an amazing Open Ceremony at the Paris Olympics-to riding in the boat in the rain-and it was pouring! So much so my lashes came right on off. Unforgettable!" Williams wrote.
Serena Williams's daughter, Olympia adorably reacted to her mother's boat ride with the Olympic torch. 22-time Grand Slam champion, Rafael Nadal, who was also on the boat with Williams, later passed the torch to former French tennis player Amelie Mauresmo to continue the relay.
Moreover, Williams documented her experience from the opening ceremony amidst the rainy environment on TikTok.
