Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian drops 2-word reaction on how it feels to be a father to daughters Olympia & Adira

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian are among the power couples in tennis world and have two daughters, Olympia and Adira. On December 26, the Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian had a two-word reaction on what it's like being a father to two girls.

On December 26, Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian shared a snap of himself holding their daughters in his arms and wrote:

“Uppy^2 (or someone else gets jealous).

Reacting to this photo, a fan commented on how he must feel 'blessed' with his daughters:

“I know what you mean. If you hug one for 5 seconds you better be counting to 5 when you hug the next one. God Blessed you with daughters because God knew you would be a great dad with the girls.”

To this, Alexis Ohanian replied,

“Truly blessed.”

Williams and Ohanian first met in 2015 and quickly became close, with the former inviting the Reddit co-founder to her French Open outing later that same year. Alexis Ohanian proposed to Serena in 2016 before the two married in November a year later (2017).

Serena Williams welcomed Olympia in September of 2017 while she was still dominating the sport. Less than a year later, she was back at the top, playing in the 2018 Wimbledon and US Open finals. In 2022, Williams hung up her racket after nearly three decades, and also announced the birth of her second daughter Adira, in August of 2023.

In August this year, Williams expressed her feelings about being a mother to two daughters and wrote via her Instagram handle :

“Olympia is always there for me. Before having a second child, I always wondered, "how could I love anything as much as I love Olympia? Then Adira came along, she is so special, so fun, so funny, so loving, so sweet and so strong!!! You see, God makes your heart get bigger. Because my love for Olympia has not dimmed. My heart simply now is doubled the size and I have a greater capacity to love more!”

In an exclusive with Entertainment Times a year ago, Williams also spoke of the bond between both sisters, saying,

"She's (Olympia) navigating it. She loves it. Adira's like a tiny little baby, so Olympia just calls her her little sis."

Besides motherhood, Serena Williams has gone on to explore various adventures since her retirement from tennis. The 23-time Grand Slam winner is the founder of the venture capital firm Serena Ventures and also owns multiple businesses, including make-up line Wyn Beauty and multimedia company Nine Two Six Productions.
