Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian this week revealed his motivation to stay fit. After a fan commented on his gym picture, Ohanian said the effort was for "his girls."

Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit, shares frequent updates of his moments with his family, especially his daughters. He keeps his followers on social media updated about Olympia's mischievousness.

Most recently, Serena Williams' husband took to X (formerly Twitter) and posted a fitness update, sharing a photograph from his time at the gym. He captioned his photo:

"Training for Uppies'"

Ohanian's picture received a reply from a fan:

"Get jacked and become a gentle giant."

In response, Alexis Ohanian wrote a short note about his motivation:

"For my girls!"

A couple of days back, Ohanian amusingly showcased the challenges of raising two daughters, posting a picture in which he held both Olympia and Adira at the same time. In the caption, he wrote that the elder sister envies the younger one:

"Uppy^2 (Or else someone gets jealous)"

Serena Williams tied the knot with Ohanian in November 2017, nearly a year after their engagement in December 2016. Before their marriage, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Olympia, on September 1, 2017. The 23-time Grand Slam champion gave birth to Adira, their second-born, on August 15, 2023, 11 months after she called time on her professional career.

In a recent episode of the "On Purpose with Jay Shetty" podcast, Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian said he holds that the internet is a force for good, while recognizing that there are opposing arguments too.

Ohanian said,

"I still think the internet can bring out the best in us. I can also accept the conflicting view that it enables the worst of us. And I obviously want to be on the side of the former. So, I try to use my platform the best."

He further added that making his daughters' lives better is what drives him to work hard.

"And I need to believe that there is hope for us to figure it out. At the end of the day, we all want to live decent lives, we want our kids to live possibly better lives. I want to spend my years supporting all this stuff that my girls will be proud of."

In a recent Instagram story, Serena Williams' husband shared that he tweeted about Olympia more than 200 times in 2024.
