Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian stepped forward with a proposal to donate to relief and support for the Palisades fire. Los Angeles is currently battling through a disastrous wildfire that has already spread across more than 2000 acres and forced people to vacate their homes and move to safer places.

The Palisades fire is consistently spreading across the seaside area between Santa Monica and Malibu. The ongoing issue has not only forced the authorities to carry out immediate evacuation but 5 deaths have also been reported per Governor Gavin Newsom's statement. However, amid the immense chaos, the firefighters are consistently safeguarding people located in the affected areas.

On January 9, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian extended a hand of support to contribute to the damage restoration. He dropped a query on social media platform X, asking if anyone could provide a reliable and efficient working organization he could donate to and offer relief to the victims.

"Devastating. Who are the best orgs with least overhead aka most efficiency we should be donating to help?" he wrote.

This effort is one of Serena Williams' husband's many philanthropic endeavors. The 776 Foundation, Virginia women's basketball, and the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative are some of the most widely known organizations funded by Alexis for noble causes.

Several names like Coco Gauff's ex-coach Brad Gilbert, Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle, and others stepped forward to spread awareness regarding the wildfire.

Among tennis entities expressing concern over the LA wildfire was Morgan Riddle. Taylor Fritz's girlfriend is a renowned social media influencer and used her massive Instagram reach (417K followers) to spread awareness about the blazing flames in LA.

Morgan Riddle expressed her sadness over the damage caused to people and property by sharing her thoughts in an Instagram story.

"Feeling completely drained and helpless being on the other side of the world while my home burns, people I love are in such a scary situation, and there are thousands of animals that will suffer. It's far from over. LA friends, please foster if you are in safe areas," she wrote.
