Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian celebrated the Washington Commanders' NFL playoff qualification following Jayden Daniels' heroics. The Commanders had almost left it too late, however, they secured a win in overtime following their quarterback's touchdown pass.

Taking to X, Ohanian celebrated the Washington Commanders’ playoff-clinching win and praised quarterback Daniels for his stellar performance this season. He wrote:

"LFG. It wasn’t pretty but we did it. Great job @Commanders and @JayD__5 just putting it on his back 💪 we have our QB and we have a playoff berth."

In their penultimate game of the regular season, the Commanders faced the Atlanta Falcons at Northwest Stadium on Sunday, December 29. The tightly contested game saw both teams trading crucial points each quarter, ending regulation tied at 24-24.

The showdown culminated in overtime when Daniels connected with Zach Ertz for his third touchdown pass of the game, securing a dramatic 30-24 victory and a playoff spot for the Commanders.

"The fan base waited a long time for this," Daniels said post-match, via Yahoo News. "I really can’t put into words how much it means to them and how much it means to me to be able to go out there and lead this franchise and this team to opportunities like that."
