Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, recently reacted to a humorous clip from the docu-series "Offseason" featuring American soccer player Lo’eau LaBonta. In the season finale, the 31-year-old expressed frustration over a practice match defeat. The series' page on social media compared her response to that of people who work the day after the Thanksgiving holidays.

"Offseason," which premiered on October 18, is co-produced by Reddit co-founder Ohanian and NJ/NY Gotham FC forward Midge Purce. The six-episode series offers a glimpse into the lives of 11 National Women's Soccer League players as they train, live, and forge bonds while spending two weeks together during the offseason.

Thanksgiving was celebrated in the United States on Thursday, November 28. As the weekend came to a close, the official Offseason account on Instagram shared a brief clip from the season finale, showcasing LaBonta's disappointment after her team, White, lost a practice match to Team Pink. In the video, the player refused a post-match interview.

The caption to the video read,

"@lomomma is everyone at work the Monday after Thanksgiving."

Alexis Ohanian shared the clip to his Instagram stories and wrote,

The Offseason has achieved remarkable success of late. When the series'first season surpassed 100 million views, Ohanian took to X (formerly Twitter) to thank viewers for their support. He also had a message for the critics. He wrote,

"DAMN. @OffseasonFC has BLOWN PAST 100,000,000 views. The latest episode (ep 4) already has 63.8M views and counting and our website only recounts ever 24hrs so the 133M views is stale. LFG.Thanks to everyone who watched. And all the haters have a special place in my heart!"

Ohanian also celebrated with a post on X when the series surpassed the 180 million views mark. He wrote.

"Light work. 180,000,000 and counting!! More @OffseasonFC announcements to come"

Ohanian has frequently championed women’s sports. A few years ago, the 41-year-old made a significant investment of $100 million as the primary shareholder in the NWSL club Angel City FC, aiming to elevate women's soccer in the United States.

The 41-year-old's other investments in women's sports include the track-and-field event Athlos NYC, held in September.
