Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian makes unconventional foray into fashion, uses AI avatar to model striking virtual looks

Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, has ventured into modeling, albeit in an unconventional way. The Reddit co-founder made use of an artificial intelligence (AI) system to experiment with virtual try-ons of different clothing styles.

Ohanian hasn't shied away from embracing the power of AI, from using its capabilities to create a striking depiction of Serena Williams as the iconic superhero Wonder Woman to incorporating it into their daughter Olympia's education.

The Reddit co-founder shared that he had used AI to create math problems tailored to the seven-year-old's interests, including Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and women's soccer.

Alexis Ohanian recently used the program Doji to create an AI likeness of himself, which he used to try on virtual clothes and determine which looks were worth shopping for.

"Serving AI looks," Ohanian posted on X.

The 41-year-old made good use of the system, using his AI avatar to show off several chic outfits in striking poses.

A user even likened Ohanian to a Zara model, which the Reddit co-founder attributed to the AI program's capabilities.

"Didn’t know you became a Zara model…," the user posted.

"In the world of http://Doji.com you can be," Ohanian responded.

During a recent appearance on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, described AI as an "amazing superpower" that had the ability to transform the workforce by automating many jobs.

"There's lots of different areas where AI may not necessarily replace human work, but is going to be an amazing superpower," Ohanian said.

However, the 41-year-old emphasized that AI couldn't replicate the uniquely human quality of empathy, expressing hope for his daughters, Olympia and Adira, to preserve that trait amid the rise of AI and robotics.

"And so what do I want for my kid, or for even for anyone's kid who's entering a workforce, is probably to most importantly build skills that I know are going to be durable, call it a decade or two from now. So empathy is a skill that I think will be the last bastion of AI," he said.

Alexis Ohanian has also shared that he and Serena Williams "tightly controlled" their daughter Olympia's online activities, with her internet access being limited to playing Roblox with her family and friends.
