Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian hilariously reacted to Kendrick Lamar reigniting the Kendrick Lamar-Drake beef during his concert. Ohanian has not shied away from expressing his thoughts on this highly publicized fallout.
An X (formerly Twitter) account posted a video from Kendrick Lamar's latest concert, The Pop Out. The post mentioned that Kendrick Lamar sang his Drake diss track Not Like Us four times during the concert.
Alexis Ohanian responded coyly to the post with a video of the late Kobe Bryant in which the latter said:
"I am going to beat you. I am going to let you know that I beat you. And I gonna want you to reconsider your professional life choices."
For the uninitiated, Lamar backed Serena Williams in his song Never Like Us:
"From Alondra down to Central, n**ga better not speak on Serena."
This could be a response to Drake launching an attack on Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian in his song, Middle of the Ocean. The Canadian rapper called the Reddit co-founder a groupie. The verse of the song was:
"Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie/He claim we don’t got a problem but/No, boo, it is, like you comin’ for sushi/We might pop up on ’em at will like Suzuki."
The Reddit co-founder responded to the groupie tag and wrote he does his best at everything, including being a group for his wife, Serena Williams, and daughter, Olympia.
"The reason I stay winning is because I'm relentless about being the absolute best at whatever I do — including being the best groupie for my wife & daughter," he wrote on X.
Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian gets a laugh out of the Kendrick Lamar - Drake feud
Serena Williams' husband has kept up with the entire Kendrick Lamar - Drake feud. Although the feud reportedly dates back to 2013, it got aggravated in March 2024 due to back-to-back diss tracks being fired from both sides.
Lamar released songs like 'Like That', 'Euphoria', '6:16 in LA', 'Meet the Grahams' and 'Not Like Us', while Drake released 'Push Ups', 'Taylor Made Freestyle', 'Family Matters' and 'The Heart Part 6'.
Following the release of back-to-back diss tracks by Kendrick Lamar, a user on X wrote:
"Drakes house on google maps says ‘owned by Kendrick’ but there’s more," the tweet read.
To this, the Reddit co-founder replied that being made fun of on Google Maps was 'something else'.
"Getting trolled on Google Maps is something else," Ohanian wrote.
